Thirst Was Taken

Thirst Was Taken adds a thirst bar for players. Townstead extends it to villagers as a thirst backend.

The integration is identical to Thirst Was Reclaimed, the maintained continuation of this mod. The two share the thirst mod id and cannot be installed together; Townstead detects which one is present automatically.
